02 - URL Variables Editor

This tutorial shows how to use the URL Variables Editor to easily add, edit or remove link parameters

URLs, and especially the ones from affiliate links, often have query parameters. 

Here is an example of a URL with query parameters:


The URL above is composed of:

  1. The scheme (https)
  2. The domain name (example.com)
  3. The document path (page1)
  4. The query parameters (parameter1=value1 and parameter2=value2)

The query parameters always start after an exclamation mark: "?"

Query parameters are then separated by an ampersand character: "&" 

It is not always straightforward to add or edit query parameters to an existing URL. This is why ClickerVolt integrates a simple editor to make our lives simpler.
